BIVI

Around 2016, while deeply involved in growing and operating the medical business, I became increasingly focused on using data to generate actionable business insights. The existing systems did not give me the visibility I wanted.

I taught myself SQL so I could work directly with the practice's data. That effort expanded into learning software development.

BIVI grew out of this period. It included software for healthcare and practice workflows, including appointment reminders and digital paperwork. Technologies included ASP.NET, Twilio, and Mailgun.

Philippe Bibi later became my partner in BIVI. The name reflects Bibi + Vitenas. An accomplished technologist and financier, Philippe was an important mentor to me.
